General Terms and Conditions

– All guests must be of at least 16 years of age to be able to check-in at the Hostel.

– It is mandatory for guests to present valid photo identification at the time of check-in. According to GOI regulations, a valid Photo ID has to be carried by every person staying at the hostel.

– The ID proofs accepted are Passport, Aadhar Card, Driving Licence and Voter ID card. PAN Card is not accepted as a valid ID Card.

– Guests with Local IDs will not be allowed admission.

– All Foreign nationals are required to show & scan their original valid passport and visa at the time of check-in.

– Musafir is committed towards travellers and young backpackers and hence we do not recommend it to families to stay with us. In case you are travelling with a family, a hotel or a guesthouse would be more suitable to your needs.

– Advance taken while making reservations is strictly non-refundable.

– All remaining payments have to be cleared on Check-In.

– Our hostel follows quiet hours very strictly. Please do not blare music after 10:30pm. Do not discuss things in dorms in the late hours, use the common space.

– Keep the dorm noise minimum, Do not disturb others by playing the music or phone calls in the dorm round the clock. use the common space.

– Visitors are not allowed inside the rooms. In case you want to invite a friend or guest, you can meet with them in the common spaces or at the reception.

– In case more than 3 people are travelling together, please note that we can not guarantee accommodation together in the same dorm room. However, we’ll try our best to accommodate.

– Different Hostels & Homestays may have different policies during specific times of the year.

– Musafir is not responsible for your personal belongings. Please use designated storage for safety.

– Pets are not allowed in the Dorms & common area. We may allow pets in private rooms with conditions.

– Breakfast is not included in the room rate while making a reservation. The extra charges can differ on properties and can be paid there only..

– Should any action by a guest be adjudged inappropriate by the Hostel, or if any inappropriate behaviour is brought to the attention of the Musafir Team, the hostel/homestay reserves the right after the allegations have been investigated, to take action against the guest/visitor.

– Right to admission is reserved.

– Certain policies are reservation specific and they are notified at the time of reservation.

Reservation Extension Policy

– Extension of the stay would be provided on current room rates and are subject to availability.

– Current room rates may be different from the rates at which the rooms were booked.

– Extend your stay at least a night before your original reservation check-out date.

Cancellation Policy

-The advance taken at the time of reservation is always non-refundable.

– Prepayment of the balance amount is necessary at the time of check-in.

Refund Policy

– All the eligible refunds will be processed to the source of payment within 7-14 working days.

– Please request refunds via official channels of contacts only and attach your reservation ID & related information.

Group Policy

– If the group behaviour is adjudged unfit at the property, the Musafir Property Manager, upon subjective evaluation, has the full right to take required action which may also result in an on-spot cancellation without refunds.

– We believe in community and experience, groups are advised to be considerate for all the other guests.

– Musafir reserves the right to admission.

Check-in and Check-out Policy

– Standard Check-In time is 12 PM.

– Standard Check-Out time is 10 AM.

– Early Check-In and Late Check-Out is subject to availability.

– However, we welcome you with a warm heart. Till the time of your check-in, feel free to access our common area and common washrooms.
